talented science writers to complete online text resource for
a national 11th/12th grade hybrid online course in green building.
GEF is launching its Green Building Course in partnership with
the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) and in alignment with

which integrates a focus on green building and is aligned with

Happy New Year!

One of my heroes is Teddy Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States, a creative writer and a great man of letters and of action. Here is one of his famous quote for the new year:

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

So let’s make 2011 a great year. Here are 4 starters:

1 - Be open to change as it is a constant as is your competition's resistance to it is probable.

2- Think BIG because BIG ideas have more potential but can be trimmed, small ones don't lend themselves to growth,

3 – Think WILD and Outside -the-Box otherwise you'll never get a BIG idea

4 - Don't talk about it ... do it!
